Welpman Springs:
The original reason the founder chose the land was for the utilization of the natural spring located on the property. This high quality spring water is transported from the natural spring. The spring has a flow rate of up to 1,000 gallons per minute, ensuring maximization of loading time from our spring to your processing facilities. We also regularly test the water to ensure that it exceeds all federal and state health standards required.
Missouri Goldfish Hatchery:
The foundation of the Missouri Goldfish Hatchery was the spring as a resource to supply ponds with fresh, cool water year round. To this day, we supply thousands of anglers with their choice of bait, the golden shiner. Through the years we have also supplied fathead (toughies), goldfish, and limited numbers of crawdads as well as building and selling live bait transportation cans.
